All Scouts WA Adventure centres are challenge-by-choice centres that respect diversity and differentiate activities to meet the needs of all participants. Activities are viewed as a means to increase resilience, problem-solving skills, and independent thinking, all while also fostering teamwork, respect, and communication.
Scouts WA has four main adventure centres around Western Australia that can be accessed by Scout Groups, Schools and Community Groups.

Our Campsites

Our campsites are across WA. Once you know your goals for your stay, we can help you choose the option that’s right for you and your group.

Manjedal

There are a large number of activities that groups can undertake at Manjedal Adventure Centre (MAC). Some activities require trained Manjedal staff and some you can run yourself.

Eaton

With accommodation options of up to 64 people plus leaders, and easy access to the Collie River, Eaton is a blend of low-key and minimally organised activities.

Vasse

Vasse offers a campsite with acces to nature trails, wildlife, and BBQ facilities. It is also conveniently close to a range of activities like abseiling and caving.

Gilcreek

With facilities that can accomodate up to 60 people, Gilcreek is close to a range of attractions in Albany and Denmark.

Accomodation at Manjedal

The main campsite for schools and other community groups is Manjedal Adventure Centre. There are a range of accomodation options that can suit a variety of groups. Discounts apply to Scout Groups.

Gilwell

Preferred for privacy, space and a little more style when on camp, this is the most sought after accommodation for large groups up to 90, whether for a retreat, training, leadership, adventure or family camp.

$28 per person per night (Min numbers apply)

The Youth Centre

Recommended for groups on the go, this central location allows your adventure seekers to pop in and out between meals and activities, for groups up to 82.

$25 per person per night (Min numbers apply)

Chris’ Corner

Favoured for its unique characteristics and set away from other campers, this combination is designed to accommodate mixed ages, different needs and varied styles of camping, while treating leaders to their own private accommodation. For groups of up to 42 participants + (separate) 6 leaders.

$24 per person per night (Min numbers apply)

Eco Chalets

These self-contained, eco-friendly units will give your group the remote luxury experience you’ve been looking for, whether for a retreat, training, leadership, adventure or family camp. Hire all 6 or just the 1 depending on the needs of your group.

$30 per person per night (Min numbers apply)

The Lair

The Lair Barn can sleep 30 on mattresses and the campgrounds can sleep 30 in tents. When hiring either the barn or campgrounds you must also hire the Lair Kitchen.

$15.50 per person per night (Min numbers apply)

Camping Huts

Enjoy your Camp in a rustic, open sided Bibbulmun Track style Camping Hut in a secluded bush setting. Simply roll your swag out onto one of the sturdy sleeping platforms and relax. There are a total of 4 sleeping platforms that fit approximately 3 swags each.

$12 per person per night (Min numbers apply)

Campsite

Pitch your tent and get up close and personal with nature. With a variety of remote campsites or sites with supporting ablution blocks there will be a site to suit your needs.
